Why UW Economics?

The science of efficient allocation, economics has much to offer students in the way of general and specialized preparation for positions in business, as well as government and the academic profession. You may not know it, but we use economics every day. Economics is the science of decision making and how to create value through trade. Since we make decisions and trade daily, we all use economics – all the time.

UW Economics graduates have gone on to high-paying careers in a wide variety of fields including law, finance, business, government, and academia. Our Undergraduate Alumni page shows some of the different paths students have taken after graduating. Talk to one of us today to discover how your career goals can be supported by an economics degree from the University of Wyoming.
