Automatic Control, Instrumentation Systems, Signal Processing, Science/Technology Education

Current research activities are focused in the following areas:

  1. enhancement of undergraduate engineering education,
  2. electronics for nonthermal plasma applications in chemical processing,
  3. applications of remote in-situ instrumentation (e.g. avalanche infrasonics)
  4. electronic relative-locating systems for cooperative robotic swarms,
  5. applied signal processing,
  6. analysis and modeling of storage area networks,
  7. precision pointing and vibration isolation with Stewart-Gough platforms.
