Biography
I grew up in Wyoming and after some wandering moved back to Laramie to raise a family. I lived for a year in Plymouth, England in college and served in Peace Corps Guatemala with forestry projects for almost 4 years where I met my wife. We have 2 kids and 5 guinea pigs. I started off in education looking to go into paleontology but then moved into prehealth advising which I have done for over 20 years. I’ve held a wide variety of leadership positions in both national and regional advising organizations. My early college education was in the sciences but more recently I’ve pursued degrees in education and leadership. Outside of work I’m a voracious reader, hunt, hike, cross country ski and do long distance running. I also volunteer as a citizen scientist with the Berry Biodiversity Center and work as an election judge.
