First Year Experience
Welcome to your first year at the University of Wyoming
The First Year Experience (FYE) is designed to help you get ready for the demands
of college life. The goals of the FYE are to facilitate the transition to college
life by developing skills to meet the challenges of higher education and improving
self-awareness and understanding of others.
We are dedicated to connecting first-year students and transfer/non-traditional first-year
UW students to the wide variety of campus resources available. This is your home for
finding avenues for getting involved on campus, help for tough classes, and support
