Camp GEAR UP
GEAR UP Camp 2026 planning is underway! This year, camp will take place at the University
of Wyoming from June 15th to the 18th. Rising 10th and 11th grade students will receive
priority, with any remaining spots going to 12th grade students. Students from across
Wyoming will embark on a nautical themed college readiness adventure titled "Navigating
the High Degrees: Chart Your Course and Claim Your Future."
During this four day residential experience, participants will stay in the brand new
UW student residence halls and enjoy meals in the newly opened dining center, giving
them an exciting glimps into life as a future college student. Campers will be lead
through engaging college prep workshops, hands on activities, and team building challenged
that help students map out their academic goals and future pathways. Throughout the
program, students will explore their strengths, build confidence, and learn valuable
skills that support their journey toward postsecondary success. Along the way, they
will create meaningful connections, experience new environments, and chart a course
towards the future they want to claim. Chart your course. Raise your anchor. Your
