Daniels' Scholars may use their scholarship at any two or four year accredited institution in the United States while pursuing a bachelor's degree.
Daniels' FundHathaway
The Hathaway Scholarship provides merit and need-based awards to eligible students. GEAR UP Wyoming will help you prepare for and complete the Hathaway Success Curriculum required to be eligible for the Hathaway Scholarship.
UW Trustees' Scholars
The Trustees' Scholars award is a highly competitive, full-ride scholarship available to students enrolled at the University of Wyoming.

GEAR UP Wyoming Scholarships
Offered to GEAR UP Wyoming participants served in the 2024-2031 grant, the GEAR UP Wyoming Federal Opportunity and the UW GEAR UP Institutional Scholarships are now open for the 2026-27 application period!
GEAR UP Wyoming Federal Opportunity
The GEAR UP Wyoming Federal Opportunity scholarship can be used at any accredited postsecondary institution of your choice. Priority will be given to applicants who attend UW or Wyoming community colleges. The scholarship is awarded in the fall semester of your freshmen year of college. The application opens October 1st and the submission deadline is June 1st.
UW GEAR UP Institutional
The University of Wyoming provides $150,000 annually to support GEAR UP Wyoming students pursuing a bachelor's degree at UW. The application period is October 1st - April 1st, with funds awarded in the fall semester, and additional awards available for spring semester. To be eligible, students must complete the FAFSA each year while enrolled at UW and maintain satisfactory academic progress. Eligibility is reviewed each semester.
