Research Statement

The long-term goal of my research is to understand the effects of ice on surfical processes and sediment dynamics in high-latitude fluvial, marine, and lacustrine environments. To reach this goal, I am studying frazil and anchor ice formation, and the interaction between these ice types and sediment in suspension and on the bed.
