Students representing the University of Wyoming College of Law and Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources reached the semi-finals at the 2025 Jeffrey G. Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition. The competition, in which more than 200 competitors from 47 law schools, was held at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in White Plains, N.Y.

After more than a decade in development, officials finalized the Rock Springs Resource Management Plan (RMP), outlining the future of 3.6 million acres of public land in southwest Wyoming for the next 20 years. On December 20, 2024, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) released a Record of Decision, approving the plan. However, amid ongoing controversy over its implementation, the Department of the Interior (DOI) announced a temporary hold on the Rock Springs RMP.

To facilitate these essential conversations, the University of Wyoming’s Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources invites conservationists, managers, and researchers to the Managing Wildlife on Large Landscapes Conference, taking place October 1-2, 2025, at Snow King Resort in Jackson, Wyoming.
