Student Practicum Director: Jacob Spindler

Jacob Spindler serves as the Student Director of the Estate Planning Practicum. Born and raised in Missouri, he visited Colorado with his wife in in 2018 and fell in love with the Front Range, eventually relocating to Ft. Collins.

After earning two bachelor’s degrees from Southwest Baptist University in 2015, he worked in the purchasing and supply industry and was inspired to go to law school.

While in law school, he has been involved in the Phi Alpha Delta law Fraternity, and has focused much of his efforts on gaining real experience through externships, internships, and in the clinical programs. He was drawn to transactional legal work through his experience as an intern for the Ft. Collins law firm, Bell, Gould, Linder, & Scott. He also externed as a law clerk for the Honorable Julie Field in the Colorado District Court for the Eighth Judicial District.

Following graduation, he hopes to practice law in Northern Colorado or Wyoming. Ideally, he would like to work for a firm that does a variety of different things with the goal of expanding his transactional legal experience, as well as exploring other areas of the legal profession.
