Open Access Repositories
WyoScholar
The University of Wyoming maintains WyoScholar, an open-access institutional repository. WyoScholar
holds a variety of material, including undergraduate and graduate student papers,
open access faculty publications, Open Educational Resources (OER), and unique departmental
collections. This system allows for self-submission of content of individual pieces
as long as the work abides by the submission policy and the submission agreement.
More details can be found in the WyoScholar Publications Policy below. For large collections,
we can schedule a consultation to discuss the specific needs for your collection and
how best to publish it. For more information on how to submit or to schedule a consultation,
please contact us.

OJS
The University of Wyoming Open Journals is an open-source journal publishing platform that supports UW open access journals
and peer-reviewed series. The University of Wyoming Open Journals is a part of the
larger open access movement to transform scholarly communications. Faculty and student
publications are welcome on this platform. For more information on how to migrate
a current publication or start a new publication, please contact us.
Open Educational Resources
The University of Wyoming Open Educational Resources (OER) initiative was started
in Fall 2017 by the University of Wyoming Libraries with a mini-grant opportunity
offered to UW faculty to help facilitate the creation of OER. Since then, the University
of Wyoming Libraries has supported and published OER from a variety of departments,
ranging from Physics & Astronomy to Statistics to Theater & Dance.
