Feb. 5, 2009 -- The award winners of the 34th Annual Juried University of Wyoming Student Exhibition will conduct a walkthrough of their art Monday, Feb. 9, at 6:30 p.m in the UW Art Museum. Students will discuss their award-winning work during this informal gathering.
"The annual student exhibition is a highlight of the art museum's programming and the student walkthrough is a very special time when students can talk about their work in a public forum," says Susan Moldenhauer, UW Art Museum director and chief curator. "It is a special opportunity to hear about each student's creative process and the inspiration for their work."
The exhibition will be on view until March 25.
"Imagine learning from the masters" is a guiding principle of the UW Art Museum's programs. The museum, located in the Centennial Complex at 2111 Willett Drive, is open Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is free.
