Monday, April 26, all day -- The Drive-By Press artists will hang works inside the UW Fine Arts Center from a collection of more than 3,000 contemporary prints. A public lecture will be held at 7 p.m. in Room 111.
Monday, April 26, 3:15 p.m. -- Ed Mathez, from the American Museum of Natural History, discusses "Communicating the Issue of Climate Change Through a Museum Exhibit," Room 216 of the UW Geology Building. Free.
Monday, April 26, 7:30 p.m. -- The UW Symphonic Band performs in the Fine Arts Center concert hall. Free.
Monday, April 26, 8 p.m. -- "Finals Freak Out" will provide brain food as well as on site research and citation help for students, on level two of Coe Library. Free.
Tuesday, April 27, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. -- The Drive-By Press artists will print original, hand cut wood block prints on T-shirts in Simpson Plaza, enabling participants to collaborate in pulling prints.
Tuesday, April 27, 5 p.m. -- "Cowboy Ethics and Jim Owen's Code of the West" panel discussion, Room 129 of the UW Classroom Building. Free.
Friday, April 30, 11 a.m. -- A bike drawing will take place in the Wyoming Union breezeway to raise money for
a school in Oseno, Kenya.
Friday, April 30, 3:10 p.m. -- Annual Mulloy Lecture, "The Energy Theory of Cooking, and its Significance for
Human Evolution," Richard Wrangham, Harvard University Department of Human Evolutionary
Biology, Room 129 of the UW Classroom Building. A reception and celebration of the
new Anthropology Museum will be held at 5 p.m., at the Anthropology Building at Lewis
and 12th Streets. Free.
Friday, April 30, 7 p.m. -- Laramie River Rendezvous Rodeo, Hansen Livestock Teaching Arena. Cost is $5 per person, children under 12 admitted free.
Saturday, May 1, 8 a.m. -- The First Tee Golf Marathon presented by Chubbys BBQ, Jacoby Golf Course.
Saturday, May 1, 1 & 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 2, 1 p.m. -- Laramie River Rendezvous Rodeo, Hansen Livestock Teaching Arena. Cost is $5 per person, children under admitted free.
