Singer/songwriter Cary Judd will perform a free concert Wednesday, June 9, from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at the University of Wyoming Simpson Plaza. Free food is available for UW students.
Based in Moose, north of Jackson, Judd has performed the last four in venues ranging from house concerts to stadiums. He is surrounded on stage by an array of instrumentation, from loop machines, sequencers, effect pedals and drums to his acoustic guitar.
Known for his storytelling and deadpan humor, listeners have compared him to such artists as The Cure, Joseph Arthur and The Honorary Title.
The Campus Activities Center sponsors the concert as part of its summer programs schedule.
