"Harnessing the Power of Social Media Marketing" Class Set for Aug. 5 in Casper

Wyoming Entrepreneur, the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (WSBDC) and the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce will host a class on the power of social networking as a marketing tool Thursday, Aug. 5, in Casper.

The cost of the class is $15 and includes a box lunch. The program will take place in the Wyoming Entrepreneur Conference Room, 300 S. Wolcott St., Ste. 300. To receive a registration form and additional information, call the Wyoming Entrepreneur Small Business Development Center at 234-6683. Deadline to register is Aug. 2.

Anya Petersen-Frey, regional director of the WSBDC in southeast Wyoming, will teach the class. She has more than 20 years experience in business management and marketing for both non-profit and for-profit entities.

Wyoming Entrepreneur is a business consulting group consisting of the Wyoming Small Business Development Center, Wyoming Procurement Technical Assistance Center, and the Wyoming Market Research Center. Each of these programs is intended to help Wyoming entrepreneurs succeed. Counseling and most market research services are free of charge to Wyoming residents.

Wyoming Entrepreneur programs are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, and in part by the Wyoming Business Council, and the University of Wyoming.
