The deadline is Friday, Aug. 13, at 5 p.m. to register to join Team UW in the Race for the Cure.
You can walk, run, be a spirit walker or make a donation for this important cause. UW employees can register here. The race is scheduled Saturday, Aug. 14, at the State Capitol in Cheyenne.
T-shirts can be picked up at the Wyoming Union breezeway Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 11 and 12, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Last-minute registrations will be accepted.
The Race for the Cure benefits the Susan G. Komen Foundation, an organization supporting breast cancer research. Since its inception in 1982, the organization has raised more than $1.5 billion for research, education and health services, making it the world's largest breast cancer charity.
