To meet the geospatial data needs of students, faculty and staff across campus, the Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center (WyGISC) and the Brinkerhoff Geology Library have partnered this semester to provide a venue to answer geospatial data-related questions.
This GIS Consultation Desk will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-5 p.m. during the fall semester in the Brinkerhoff Geology Library, located on the first floor of the S.H. Knight Geology Building. Appointments are appreciated, though drop-ins are also welcome.
E-mail georef@uwyo.edu to request an appointment or to ask GIS data questions. This is a pilot project developed by WyGISC and University Libraries to support geospatial data needs across campus. The program will be evaluated in December to consider future directions.
