UW Homecoming Parade Winners Announced

Phi Kappa Alpha and Delta Delta Delta had the most outstanding float and the Office of the Registrar and Financial Aid was judged as the runner-up in the 2010 University of Wyoming Homecoming parade. The parade, with the theme, "Poke Pride is UW Pride" featured more than 70 entries.

Winners in other adjudicated categories were:
        
Most Original Float -- UW Libraries and Association of Black Student Leaders winner; UW College of Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, runner-up.

Best Small Float -- Associated Students with Interest in China, winner; Cowboy Parents Association, runner-up.

Best Off-Campus Commercial Entry -- Spring Wind Assisted Living, winner; Ace Hardware, runner-up.

Best Use of Theme -- Wyoming Student Alumni Association, winner; UW Retail Dining, runner-up.

Best Off-Campus Walking Entry -- National Guard Youth Challenge Program, winner; Sikuris de Wyoming, runner-up.

Honorable Mention -- Collegiate FFA, Ghost Tours of Laramie, Laramie Jr. High Marching Band and Western Thunder Marching Band.
