An opportunity for local bands to win $1,500 is available during Friday Night Fever's 2011 Battle of the Bands competition at 8 p.m. Friday, April 15.
Applications will be accepted no later than 5 p.m. Friday, March 25, by e-mail at fnf@uwyo.edu or by mail to Friday Night Fever, Dept. 3625, 1000 E. University Ave. Laramie, WY 82071. All bands are required to submit an MP3 or musical CD demo and stage plot along with the application.
A total of six bands will be selected to compete at the Battle of the Bands 2011 for a chance to win the $1,500 grand prize. A panel of three individuals will judge the competition. Band members wanting to enter do not have to be University of Wyoming students.
