Employers are encouraged to acknowledge University of Wyoming student workers during National Student Employment Week April 10-16.
Show your student employees they are appreciated by taking them to lunch, inviting them to an office potluck or having a pizza party or sundae bar. Recognizing them on a bulletin board or making care packages for them are other ways to show appreciation for student workers, says Jana Brinkman, UW Human Resources recruitment coordinator.
"Do something that makes them feel special," Brinkman says. "They are valuable assets to our offices and businesses."
