University of Wyoming students will battle with lasers during a Friday Night Fever event Aug. 26 on Fraternity Mall. Open to all UW students, the event will be held in the Wyoming Union Ballroom in case of rain.
A hybrid that combines laser tag and paint ball, Laser Battle offers new level of extreme sports. The outside course is similar to a paintball course, giving students an opportunity to use their skills to seek cover and eliminate the other team.
"The interactive atmosphere and friendly competition is a great way to kick off the semester and meet new people," says Kathryn Nicola, Friday Night Fever marketing chair.
