University of Wyoming faculty, students and staff once again have access to a classified advertising service on the WyoWeb system.
A link to the electronic classifieds may be found on the WyoWeb homepage in the same spot it was located before the service was suspended Dec. 16.
The service utilizes a third-party vendor called e-Classifieds. It's available only to people who have access to WyoWeb. People wishing to post ads on the site are required to create an account with a user name and password, but there's no charge for using the service.
"We hope faculty, staff and students will find this system helpful and easy to use," says UW Institutional Communications Director Chad Baldwin. "It's clear that there's a demand for campus classifieds, and we think this system will meet the needs of our employees and students."
The previous Campus Classifieds system was suspended because it was incompatible with changes made to UW's computer system.
Anyone with questions or comments about the new classifieds should email Baldwin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
