Contractors will begin spraying trees to control beetles beginning Wednesday, May 16, at the University of Wyoming.
Spraying on the main campus from Ninth Street to 15th Street, and between Lewis and Ivinson streets is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
The spraying schedule for other campus locations, all starting at 5:30 a.m., is:
Wednesday, May 16 -- Jacoby Golf Course, baseball field and soccer field area, Little League fields, and plant science facilities at 30th and Harney Street.
Thursday, May 17 -- Properties on Harney Street between 15th and 22nd streets, National Guard Armory, War Memorial Stadium and Physical Plant Service Building.
Friday, May 18 -- Jacoby Golf Course, War Memorial Stadium and Arena-Auditorium, and east campus including College of Law Building, Fine Arts, War Memorial Fieldhouse and Corbett Building.
Saturday, May 19 -- State Vet Lab, Beef Unit, Hansen Arena area and Agronomy Farm.
Tuesday, May 22 -- Student housing, residence halls, Spanish Walk apartments and Buffalo Run Village Apartments.
