Comedians Ali Wong and Michael Palascak will perform at 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, in the University of Wyoming Arts and Sciences auditorium.
Additionally “Rock of Ages,” starring Tom Cruise, can be seen in the Wyoming Union Family Room at 6:30, 9 and 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Nominated as “The Best Comedian of 2009,” Wong is a stand-up comedian who has appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” the FOX Series “Breaking In,” E!’s “50 Super Epic TV Moments,” and also can be seen in Oliver Stone’s movie “Savages.”
In 2010, Comedy Central listed her as one of seven “Comics to Watch” and, in 2011, she was named as one of the “10 Comics to Watch” by Variety Magazine. Wong appeared in the 2011 Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. This year, she can be seen in the new NBC series “Are You There, Chelsea?” based on Chelsea Handler’s memoir.
Palascak has been featured on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.” He has performed at The TBS LOL Lounge in the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Chicago and at Caesar’s Palace in the Comedy Festival in Las Vegas. He won HBO’s Lucky 21 Stand-up Contest and the Chicago region of Comedy Central’s Open Mic Fight.
