The fall concert features music from the Americas, Sweden, Norway and Mongolia. Nicole Lamartine conducts the Collegiate Chorale, and Lisa Rickard is the pianist collaborator. Lamartine is a UW Department of Music assistant professor and the director of choral activities.
The Collegiate Chorale is UW’s premiere choral ensemble. Composed of the top vocal musicians at UW, the ensemble incorporates innovative concert performances, often with dance, narration or instruments.
The choir has won national acclaim through its performances at the National Collegiate Choral Organization and National Association for Music Educators conferences, as well as through premieres of new compositions and recordings of works by Grammy- and Pulitzer-prize winning composers and conductors.
