Effectiveness in working with educators in several specialty areas is among reasons an Albany County University of Wyoming Extension educator has received the Newer Employee Recognition Award.
Brian Sebade received the honor during extension’s recent annual training in Riverton.
Sebade was an extension educator based in Crook County and served northeast Wyoming for four years before transferring this year to Albany County to work with residents in southeastern counties. He has been the area chair and served on several extension issue teams, including small acreage, management intensive grazing school, Exploring the Nature of Wyoming, Wyoming rangeland plants handbook, living with wildfire guide and Wyoming Youth 4-H forestry.
“His dedication to a superior product makes him an excellent cooperating partner,” a nominator wrote. “Attention to detail and follow-through are admirable qualities he possesses.”
Sebade, from Lander, received his bachelor’s degree in 2008 and master’s degree in 2010 from UW in rangeland ecology and watershed management.
