A special meeting of the University of Wyoming Board of Trustees is scheduled Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 8:30 a.m. at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center.
The meeting will be an executive session to discuss personnel matters related to the presidential search.
Members of the board have been on campus last week and this week to interview the finalists for the university presidency. The first two candidates, Duane Nellis and Laurie Nichols, were interviewed by the trustees during executive sessions last week. The third finalist, Jeremy Haefner, will be interviewed by the board at 5 p.m. today.
The Board of Trustees seeks public input on the candidates before it fulfills its responsibility to select the new president. People are invited to share their thoughts and perspectives with the board by answering online questionnaires that have been established for each finalist at the following sites:
Nellis -- www.surveymonkey.com/r/XTLRSTF.
Nichols -- www.surveymonkey.com/r/XTJ97RT.
Haefner -- www.surveymonkey.com/r/XTSTL2B.
The deadline for comments is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15.
The Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet Friday, Dec. 18, at 7 a.m. in the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center in executive session for further discussion regarding the presidential search.
