A student exhibition, “Slow Down,” will be on display Monday, Feb. 15-Thursday, March 3, in Gallery 234, located in the lower level of the University of Wyoming Union.
A reception is scheduled Thursday, Feb. 25, from 5-7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public in Gallery 234.
Artist Cody Anderson is a senior in the UW Department of Art and Art History. He specializes in drawing, but works with various media within visual arts.
The exhibition features Anderson’s charcoal and pastel drawings, acrylic paintings and mixed media sculpture work. Each piece is said to “represent subjects that often go unnoticed and unappreciated for their inherent and unplanned beauty.”
UW Visual and Cultural Arts sponsors Gallery 234 exhibitions.
