March 21, 2016

University of Wyoming employees and students who are unable to attend the spring faculty meeting Tuesday, March 22, may watch the event, live or recorded, via UW’s WyoCast system.

The 4:10-5 p.m. meeting takes place in the Wyoming Union Ballroom. It will feature presentations by President Dick McGinity, Vice President for Academic Affairs David Jones, Vice President for Research and Economic Development Bill Gern, and brief remarks from incoming President Laurie Nichols.

To access the video feed, go to https://wyocast.uwyo.edu/WyoCast/Play/c7c26111b3eb44c4bad8ea461a27a4e11d.

Gern is expected to provide an update on the search for a new provost/vice president for academic affairs. McGinity is scheduled to review the 2016 legislative session and discuss other issues and topics of interest. A question-and-answer session will follow.

Immediately following the meeting, the president will host a reception in the hallway outside the ballroom.
