Beta Nu chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi (AKPsi) is being recognized at the University of Wyoming as the Campus Activities Center’s featured recognized student organization (RSO) for September.
Each month, the Campus Activities Center will honor a different RSO.
AKPsi, the UW business fraternity, instills in members a professional attitude and ethic, while building long-lasting social and professional relationships through several networking events, such as corporate tours, resume and interview workshops, inviting guest speakers and the Fall Formal.
The organization serves the dual purpose of education and brotherhood by giving members the information and resources to succeed in professional careers after graduation.
AKPsi, founded in 1904 at New York University, is the world’s oldest and largest professional business fraternity, with 332 chartered chapters in universities worldwide and more than 295,000 lifetime members. The Beta Nu chapter has been active on the UW campus since 1936.
AKPsi is open to students of all majors and meets Thursdays at 7:15 p.m. in the UW College of Business auditorium. Recruitment events are held each semester. For more information on joining AKPsi, email Beta Nu’s vice president at mcurry7@uwyo.edu.
