University of Wyoming research on materials science and engineering will be highlighted during the 2018 Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) Symposium Wednesday, March 21.
Students in chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, electrical engineering and other programs will present posters in the Michael B. Enzi STEM Facility atrium at 5 p.m. Snacks will be available.
Before that, the symposium begins with a keynote presentation at 4 p.m. in the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center auditorium by Chris Leighton, Distinguished McKnight University Professor in the University of Minnesota’s Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science. He will speak on “Complex Oxide Materials: From Minerals to Next Generation Electronics.”
