The associate vice provost for global engagement is a new position in the Office of Academic Affairs to oversee UW’s new Global Engagement Office. Creation of the office is part of UW’s strategic plan, “Breaking Through: 2017-2022,” which calls for expanded recruitment of international students and broadened exposure of faculty and students to international events and cultures.
