The University of Wyoming Art Museum will host a community strategic planning session Monday, May 7, from 4-7 p.m. in the museum classroom.
The UW Art Museum is seeking insight on how to better serve the Laramie community and the state of Wyoming. The public is invited to give feedback about past Art Museum experiences to help improve and plan for the future. Participants will have an opportunity to let the museum know what it is doing well and what it could do better.
The session will be led by Kim Porter, community initiatives director from the Wyoming Business Council.
Through its “Museum as Classroom” approach, the UW Art Museum places art at the center of learning for all ages. Located in the Centennial Complex at 2111 Willett Drive in Laramie, the museum is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday hours are extended to 7 p.m. February through April and September through November. Admission is free.
