A workshop to help attendees learn the tools for interrupting and stopping incidents of bias is scheduled at the University of Wyoming Tuesday, Sept. 25.
The UW Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion sponsors the “Interrupting and Stopping Bias” workshop from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Senate Chambers. The session is open to the campus community, including students. Light refreshments will be served.
Registration is required by visiting www.uwyo.edu/diversity/index-interrupting-and-stopping-bias.html.
“This workshop offers the opportunity for employees to learn and practice interrupting and stopping bias that can cause misalignment among actions, values and belief,” says Emily Monago, UW’s chief diversity officer who will lead the workshop.
