Kevin Kruger, president of the national student affairs association, will be at the University of Wyoming Wednesday, Sept. 19, to discuss the future of student affairs.
Kruger, who heads NASPA, Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education -- formerly known as the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators -- will speak during an open campus session for faculty and staff at 11 a.m. in the Wyoming Union Family Room.
An accomplished speaker, leader and educator, Kruger joined NASPA as associate executive director in 1994 and became its first executive-level president March 15, 2012. As a national advocate for students and the primary spokesperson for student affairs administrators and practitioners, he draws on his more than 30 years of experience in higher education.
Individuals needing assistance to attend the event should call the Wyoming Union Events Office at 766-3161.
For more information, call Sean Blackburn, UW vice president for student affairs, at 766-5123 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
