Indie music groups Speed the Pilgrim, Harpoon the Whale and Figures in Fiction, all from the Cowboy State, will perform Thursday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. at the University of Wyoming.
The concert, which is free and open to the public, will be in The Gardens, located in the lower level of the Wyoming Union. StudioWYO sponsors the event.
Headlining the performance will be Speed the Pilgrim, with its roots in Casper. The band’s music is described as a mix of pop and rock. The band’s newest album, “Old Roller,” is now available through multiple streaming platforms.

Laramie-based Harpoon the Whale will perform after Figures in Fiction.
