The University of Wyoming Office of Admissions’ new Campus Visitor Center is now open in the Wyoming Union.
Beginning today (Tuesday), the center will serve as the check-in location and launching place for daily campus tours for prospective students and guests. The center is located directly in front of the UW Copy and Print Center and next to the University Store on the west side of the Wyoming Union.
The UW Copy and Print Center, located in Room 114 of the Wyoming Union, will continue to provide services to the UW campus. During the semester, Copy and Print Center hours of operation are 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Fridays; 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays; and 2-6 p.m. Sundays.
Campus visitors can park in designated spaces on the east side of the drive between Knight Hall and Coe Library. These spaces will be monitored by UW Transit and Parking Services, and vehicles without the specific permit will be ticketed.
The Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center and Tomé Student Admissions Center will continue to be pivotal points of engagement for daily campus visitors, says Amy Fenolia, UW associate director of admissions.
“Those on campus tours will experience firsthand the ease and convenience of the UW transit system by taking a shuttle to the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center,” Fenolia says. “There, they will continue to discover UW’s great history, significance and prestige in higher education. Visitors will have a presentation, meet with admissions counselors and be introduced to the legacy of alumni and cowboy support in the amazing facility.”
