Individuals who are interested in the master’s degree in counseling program at the University of Wyoming at Casper can attend an informational meeting Saturday, Sept. 22.
The meeting is scheduled from 1-3 p.m. in Room 421 of the Union/University Building on the Casper College campus. For those unable to attend the meeting in person, they can join the meeting via Zoom at https://uwyo.zoom.us/j/128400965.
The program is only offered once every three years. The next cohort will start in fall 2019. Applications are due by Dec. 1.
The program is structured in a weekend format, which allows students to travel from surrounding communities for class and still work without relocating to Casper. Students attend intensive weekend courses over a three-year period -- typically attending class about nine weekends each semester.
For more information about the meeting, call Eric Dafoe, an assistant professor in the UW-Casper Counseling Program, at (307) 268-2572.
