Peet’s Coffee will now be served at the Book & Bean, located in the University of Wyoming’s Coe Library.
To celebrate, the Book & Bean is offering a special on the coffee through Monday, Oct. 15, says Reggie Conerly, UW Dining Services director.
Based in the San Francisco Bay area, Peet’s is a specialty coffee roaster and retailer, founded in 1966. Peet’s has more than 240 coffee bars in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.
The company focuses on farmer assistance in areas that have the potential to grow specialty coffee, but lack the techniques to do so, according to the company’s website. Peet’s offers support for the communities the coffee is sourced from, assisting with education, mentoring and health.
