A world-renowned expert in carbon science has been selected to use the University of Wyoming’s Flittie House in the 2019-2020 academic year.
Professor Robert Bradley, currently an academic visitor within the Department of Materials at the University of Oxford, will transition to the Department of Mechanical Engineering in UW’s College of Engineering and Applied Science. He will provide technical leadership to UW’s ongoing program in carbon materials engineering, involving the College of Engineering and Applied Science and the School of Energy Resources.
In accordance with the late Professor Ed Flittie’s will, in which he bequeathed his house to the university, UW’s Faculty Development Committee considered applications for the use of the house and chose Bradley.
He and his wife will temporarily use the house from September 2019 through June 30, 2020.
