University of Wyoming Calendar for Nov. 25

These are among the activities scheduled Nov. 25-Dec. 1 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, Nov. 25, 7 p.m. -- This Just In!, a UW improv troupe, will perform in the Wyoming Union Family Room. Free.

Monday, Nov. 25, 7:30 p.m. -- The UW Jazz Studies program will host a collaborative concert. “Rhythm is King” will feature UW Jazz Ensemble II with the UW Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Combo I and Jazz Combo II in the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts concert hall. Free.

Wednesday, Nov. 27-Friday, Nov. 29 -- UW classes will be dismissed. Most UW business and administrative offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28-29, for Thanksgiving.

Saturday, Nov. 30, 2 p.m. -- Cowgirl basketball vs. New Mexico Highlands, Arena-Auditorium. Ticket prices vary.

Sunday, Dec. 1, 6 p.m. -- UW Jazz Studies presents “Holiday Stomp” at Altitude Chophouse and Brewery, located at 320 S. Second St. in Laramie. The Wyoming Jazz Ensemble, Western Blue and Jazz Combo I will play classic holiday tunes. For tickets, call Denise at (307) 721-4031.
