Outreach School Statewide Resources
UW Regional Centers  The UW Outreach School operates regional centers throughout Wyoming. Academic coordinators at each center provide academic advising and guidance for UW distance education programs. Contact a regional center near you, today!

The Division of Outreach Technology (OTS) provides technological support for the credit and non-credit programs and services offered through the Outreach School. The division units are University of Wyoming Television (UWTV), Outreach Video Network (OVN), and Outreach Engineering. Learn more about OTS services.

Wyoming Public Media  Fifty years ago, students and staff in the Student Union gathered together to sign an application to become, KUWR, Wyoming’s “Educational FM Station”. Visit WPM now!

Saturday University (Saturday U) features lectures by outstanding University of Wyoming and participating community college professors at various locations throughout Wyoming during the Fall and Spring terms. Following the lectures, all three professors will participate in a final roundtable discussion. Participants may attend one, two, three, or all four sessions. No registration is required, and there is no charge. Visit Saturday U now!

University of Wyoming Summer Session

Summer Session offer a flexible schedule of over 400 courses that cater to all audiences.  From the student looking to catch up or get ahead on credits, the student looking for a study-abroad opportunity,  the incoming first-year or transfer student looking to begin their UW career right away or a visiting guest or special student looking to take a class while they are in the area, University of Wyoming Summer Session courses offers unique compressed learning opportunities!

University of Wyoming J-Term (Winter Session) Courses

J-Term (Winter Session) Courses occur in the time period between the end of the fall semester and the beginning of the spring semester.  J-Term Courses include; Travel (international and domestic) courses, Wyoming based (Jackson Hole, WY) field courses, and Hybrid (in class and/or on-line) courses and provide an opportunity for students to earn additional credits that will assist them in their academic goals!

On behalf of the dedicated Outreach faculty and staff, welcome to the Outreach School! The mission of UW’s Outreach School is to extend the University of Wyoming to our state and the world, while bringing the world to Wyoming. Outreach’s several divisions offer you a variety of ways to get the very best of UW, whether you need to complete your 4-year degree, a graduate degree, or the finest in professional development courses.

The University of Wyoming’s Outreach School is determined to make education accessible as well as excellent. The “quick admit” system offered through Outreach Credit Programs can help you get started fast. UW’s extremely low tuition – even for non-residents – helps to ensure that you can afford the education that will open doors for you throughout your life.

Outreach Credit Programs, our distance education arm, delivers 41 degrees, programs, and certificates to students who wish to study online or through “blended” learning technologies. The University of Wyoming at Casper provides an intimate residential experience for students, as well as educational opportunities for adult learners in the Casper area. Outreach Technology Services and UWTV support our teaching mission, as well as providing high quality video services. Wyoming Public Media beams information and entertainment to 66,000 listeners weekly across the state through Wyoming Public Radio, and to the 410,000 individuals who access them online. International Programs guarantees the best educational experience international students and faculty coming to the UW campus, and for our students and faculty who travel the world. Saturday University sends UW’s most talented professors around the state to engage local communities with exciting talks and artistic experiences.
