Pre-Pharmacy Program
Begin your journey to a PharmD through the Pre-Pharmacy Program at University of Wyoming. As an undergraduate student, you’ll complete at least two years of prerequisite coursework (62+ credit hours) before applying to the professional program. You can also explore the Early Assurance option to secure your future seat while completing your studies.

Ready for the next step? Apply to the Doctor of Pharmacy Program at the University of Wyoming through the centralized PharmCAS application service. Build advanced clinical skills, gain hands-on experience and expand your opportunities by pursuing optional dual degrees alongside your PharmD.
International Applicants
International students can apply following the same academic requirements as domestic applicants. In addition, proof of English proficiency is required, along with meeting University of Wyoming International Admissions requirements. PharmD applicants can review full application details through PharmCAS.

The Early Assurance program gives high school seniors a head start on their PharmD with provisional admission. To get started, apply to UW as a pre-pharmacy major.
To be considered, students must meet admission requirements, including:
- Minimum 3.5 high school GPA
- ACT 27 (23 math) or SAT 1280 (560 math)
As an Early Assurance student, you’ll:
- Complete the pre-pharmacy (2–4) curriculum
- Take PHCY 4170 and explore pharmacy career paths
- Maintain a 3.3 GPA each semester
- Participate in the PharmD application and interview process
