Outings are only available to UW students, faculty, staff, board retired employees, and dependents/spouses. Dependents must be 16 years of age or older to participate and must be accompanied by their parent/guardian on the activity. Lectures, film showings, slide shows, wilderness medicine offerings, and specific programming are open to the general public and are denoted in the program description.
🟢 Green - easiest, no experience needed
🟦 Blue - intermediate, some experience useful
◆ Black - advanced, previous experience necessary
If your program has a pre-trip meeting it is mandatory. If you cannot attend, you must make prior arrangements with the instructors by emailing opdesk@uwyo.edu or calling (307) 766-2402.
Payment for all activities is completed either online through our registration portal or in person at the OP office.
As of July 1st, 2023, all Campus Recreation Refund Requestors will have 30 days from the date of request to claim and process their refund. Refunds can be claimed and processed in-person at the Half Acre Front during hours of operation. Any Requestor who is unable to claim their refund in person, must notify Campus Recreation within the 30 days for refunds to be processed through the University of Wyoming Cashier’s Office. Any unclaimed refunds after the 30 days will be forfeited. Notice can be sent to halfacre@uwyo.edu.
