ART Ambassadors

National Science Foundation (NSF) created the ART Ambassador program to build a nationwide network of students, faculty, and staff who will be the agents of change within their institutions. ART Ambassadors will participate in both national and regional programs focused on building skills and capacity to translate research into real-world solutions that improve our world.

At the University of Wyoming, ART Ambassadors serve as essential change agents and mentors who bridge the gap between academic research and real-world impact. Their responsibilities include:

  • Advocacy & Culture: Championing a campus-wide culture where research translation is valued, sharing success stories to inspire peers across all disciplines.
  • Mentorship & Recruitment: Leading a peer network to recruit and guide faculty and graduate students through the translation process, helping them navigate barriers to application.
  • Ecosystem Connectivity: Linking UW researchers with industry partners and the national ART network (link to the ART Portal: http://artportal.us ) to exchange best practices and drive regional economic development.

Ready to see your research in action? Reach out to an ART Ambassador today to brainstorm how your work can create a real-world impact or contact the Technology Transfer Office to disclosure innovations and potential translational research ideas. Together, we’re building a more innovative Wyoming.
