At our Facility, each greenhouse bay is deployed with either eight (small rooms) or
16 (large rooms) Elixia units (shown in picture above). These lights allow for 1,000
spectral combinations, 90% increased plant yield and 46% less energy use than other
systems. ELIXIA uses primary and secondary optic lens plates to achieve uniform light
intensity and maximum light distribution across a growing area. The Wide optic plate
allows ELIXIA to have a smaller target area for close-to-canopy mounting heights,
especially for modern Controlled Environment Agriculture applications, while the Narrow
optic plate targets larger canopies, accommodate higher mounting installations for
growing taller crops and tree saplings. The C Plate of Elixia includes 4 tunable LED
channels at 450nm (blue), 660nm (red), 735nm (far-red), and a white 5700K LED channel.
A sample modeled heat map for incoming artificial lighting at bench height in a large
room of the Facility is represented below reporting photosynthetic photon flux densities.
