Career Competencies

Empower Tomorrow: Develop Your Career Competencies Today!

What Are Career Competencies?

Career Competencies are the skills, behaviors, and attributes that employers want in new employees. In order to land that first job you are seeking after college, it’s important you know what employers want and develop those qualities throughout your academic journey.

GET STARTED:

Use the career competency badges to guide your college and career experiences and find ways to get involved on and off campus. This journey doesn’t happen in a year. Your cumulative college experiences from day 1 to your last day as a UW student are going to ultimately shape you into that future job applicant. Make sure you are that CAREER READY applicant.
