Meets with conditions

UW meets the education and ABA accreditation requirements for the South Dakota Judiciary. Applicants will be required to take the MPRE exam prior to the Bar exam and will need a score of 85 or higher. South Dakota does not use the UBE bar exam. They do allow transfers of the MBE, MPT MEE scores from other jurisdictions. A score of 135 or higher is needed on the MBE to transfer. South Dakota also has an Indian Law exam that must be taken and passed. Please see the websites below for more information.
