What Is an Entrepreneurship Degree?
Under our management degree, the entrepreneurship focus area is designed for students who would like to develop and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset, which will help them to create and recognize opportunities in all facets of their lives. This program is intended for all students, whether they are interested in working for a larger innovative company, starting their own business, working for a family business or creating the life of their dreams.
In addition to courses offered, we host an annual entrepreneurship summit alongside
the John P. Ellbogen $50K Entrepreneurship Competition with cash prizes totaling $50,000. Our goal through this program is to "activate"
as many young entrepreneurs as possible through education about best practices, resources
provided to help them succeed and mentorship to show them what is possible.

Students must be earning their bachelor's degree in management to pursue the entrepreneurship focus area.
We are proud to offer an entrepreneurship minor to non-business majors! This minor exposes students to entrepreneurship through experiential learning and focuses on the creation of an entrepreneurial mindset.
By pursuing an entrepreneurship minor, students learn tools for success in starting a business or bringing innovation and creativity to an existing business. A primary focus of the minor is allowing the student to tailor their program of study.
