University of Wyoming President Tom Buchanan issued the following statement today on the passing of Ambassador Tom Stroock:
At the University of Wyoming, we are all saddened by the passing of Ambassador Stroock. We called on Tom many times for his wisdom and insight, and he always responded with energy and enthusiasm. He has been a longtime friend of UW and I appreciate his contributions with the Stroock Forum on Wyoming Lands and People, as a distinguished visiting professor, his work with international programs and most recently the role he has played on the Energy Resource Council. We will all miss him a great deal.
