The film "Kony 2012" can be seen at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, in the University of Wyoming Arts and Sciences auditorium.

Representatives from Invisible Children will attend a screening of the film "Kony, 2012" at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, in the University of Wyoming Arts and Sciences auditorium. The event is free.

"Kony 2012" supports Invisible Children's "Stop Kony" movement leading to the arrest of Joseph Kony, a Ugandan war criminal and leader of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) that has been linked to the abduction of thousands of children who have been forced to be sex slaves and soldiers.

"Bringing this film to the University of Wyoming is important because it truly is an example of our world changing," says Invisible Children's Bryce Mitteldstadt. "Our generation is using social media and technology to draw our government's attention to atrocities happening around the world."

Invisible Children advocate Grace Nimaro will describe her experience with the war at a brief question-and-answer session immediately following the film.

This event is sponsored by the UW Student Activities Council and Invisible Children, Inc. Individuals needing assistance to attend this event may call (307) 766-6340. For more information, visit www.uwyo.edu/cac.
